Another great one that got away. Large ancient Abelam ancestral spirit figure that judging from its erosion and green mold was tossed into the bush once the people tore down their ceremonial house. This area of the Abelam has been hit hard by evangelical religion that is very uncompromising on people’s older, traditional belief system.
